Hi
I am pretty new to cycling - I've done it back and fore over the years but have gained a new interest in it lately instead of running.
I need to renew my bike tho as it's about 20 years old but it's still quite good but the brakes are starting to fail a bit and I'd love one with suspension.
I'll be doing mainly rough terrain - I don't like the roads (not safe)
So far I've been doing indoor cycling on my stationary bike (does that count to be a member of this forum?), I bit of a wimp with the weather and we haven't had any nice weather lately but plan to get out there soon, especially as my other half will have the football on the TV for the next 6 weeks....i'll need to get out of the house lol.
I've set myself a challenge to run, walk or cycle the tour de france route (virtually of course), I have maps printed out, by the end of the year (3663.5km if I'm not mistaken).
So nice to meet you all and look forward to picking up lots of tips.
