I will be attending a talk at the Percy building at Newcastle university this week, does any of the Newcastle people know if there is a reasonably safe place to fasten up the bike near the Percy building. It will be there between 17:00 and 20:00. I ask because when I was brought up in Newcastle a bike fastened up at the Uni was like a challenge to every toe rag in miles.

There's some racks by Haymarket Metro... should be OK for a couple of hours... and pretty public, so tend not to get tampered with, people passing by all the time.
