Newhaven to London

Hi there,

Next week my friends and I are taking part in a charity cycle ride from Paris to London, but unfortunately our route planner has let us down at the last minute.

We have the Paris to Dieppe section sorted, but we need a quick, but safe, route from Newhaven to London for us to cycle in one day.

Can anyone recommend a route?

The FNRTTC does the opposite direction from time to time. So if you peek at this google maps link by dellzeqq, and go backwards you're sorted.

Here's another option a bit to the east. Bit of a compromise route (there are busy sections at Turners Hill and Lewes), and you might choose to stay on the main road rather than hacking up the Wandle Trail at Hackbridge, but it should get you there in a day.
