Strange one !!

I always nominate my wife as my NOK, because she is, as your spouse is your NOK.

I suppose that if I was ever told not to nominate my wife then the options would be my nearest relatives, which for me would be my eldest son, youngest son, closely followed by my parents.

What I usually do on these kind of forms, because I don't have any family in the UK, is to put the name of my cat, followed by by surname and, if they want a contact number or an address I make them up.
Never had anybody coming back to me with a query about the made up relative!

Are you sure it sounds better? Mushi 5mph sounds like a horrible low-speed accident to me, possibly involving fruit and / or vegetables.

As Gary says, though, the form is to give them another name / number to contact. If you are renting in joint names, they wouldn't need the name of your spouse as they already have that, but they may need someone else to contact. They are, after all, in some small way responsible for you whilst you live in their property and there's the old saying that most accidents happen in the home.

You can see in the photo how much weight is on that front wheel compared to the back wheel. Tiddles is falling over forward there, the heavy rucksack resting on the pedal is keeping the back wheel on the ground.
