DX now has the 1400 'micky mouse' 3 headlamp magic shine now, so this rear should appear on DX an a couple of months.....

It is a long time to next winter, who know what else may appearer on the market by then. That said, if that light is anything like as bright as they claim it would be well worth buying!!

I have 2 deal extreme 200 lumen torches for the princely sum of about £10 each.
They will do me fine.

I've got low output ones for group riding and high output ones for solo riding. Some of the high output rears are just not good, bordering on dangerous, for group riding imo.

I wouldn't use my Mars 4.0, Smart Superflash or RSP Astrum in a group, they are too bright. But as an on your own light, they are all great.
