Just had my appointment cancelled whilst in the waiting room, massive cyber attack.

I am lucky there are going to be many far worse off.

Yup, ransom ware attack for Bitcoin. All our systems went off line at the dental centre where I work in Carlisle. First I heard it was a cyber attack was when my son texted me from uni (he's doing computing)

Seems like a biggie !

Well it is, but there's no such thing as a perfect defence.

The real concern is that this malware is exploiting a known vulnerability, for which Microsoft issued a patch 5 months ago
