Had a consultation for a neural spine stimulator to see if I am an appropriate candidate.The consultant looked at my 28 MRI and 12 CT scans 5 ops on spine, and said { you seem suitable otherwise we will have to fit a zip to your back as you have been operated on so many times! Got to love a surgeon with a SOH lol. On a serious note he was very good explaining the pro,s and cons to me in detail and my apointment at the Heath hospital in Cardiff was on time, nurses were brilliant but rushed off their feet. would be nice if someone made them a cuppa for a change! cant praise them enough. Hope this goverment give them the funding they deserve.

The shape of the saddle will have little or no effect on your prostate. It's the angle that you sit at that will have the biggest effect. The more upright you are, the less chance of your prostate being impacted.

The sensible thing, of course, is to get a recumbent...

Glad to hear that as I mostly ride upright.
