last time i went to the Glastonbury festival i couldn't see any hippies for all the students and chavs and chavvy students... Glastonbury town on the other hand...

I am a huge Glastonbury fan, I took my daughter (aged 7) last year and had an alternative festival from previous ones I went to as a smelly student or when working. it is not all chavs and students.

I did a gig there and had to drive the car up a mudbank and then let it slide back to get round the impromptu river crater that had appeared in the middle of the track. It was the only time I've ever done anything remotely to do with deliberately sliding a car. Proper mucky that year.

I have friends who go to Glasto... friends in their 50s and 60s. I think it's a great shame, to be honest... leave it for the youngsters!!!!!!!
