Crap cycle farcilities. NCN1 near Martineau Lane, Norwich. So nice of Sustrans to supply some real off-roading choice in an urban setting. After all, there's a lot of MTBs sold these days.. Here Sustrans is offering a choice to the cyclist, all in the one farcility. There's the tarmac for those not using moutnain bikes and for those who want 'a bit of rough' there's some off-roading surface there too. What more could a cyclist want? Plus it helps save the planet as it saves those urban cyclists with a hankering to do some off-roading from having to load their bikes into their polluting, carbon emmitting cars and heading off into the countryside!

Isn't it more a case of the local council not maintaining the cycle path properly by not cutting back the vegetation?

The second picture seems to imply cyclists on the "path" should rejoin the road (where the "end of route" sign is, and cyclists going the other way enter the path at the same point.

It's basically instructing 2 bikes going in opposite directions to crash into each other xx(
