What are the salt/grit bins for if not for use by the public? Obviously not to sell but it's okay to use it on drives and pavements, isn't it?

Maybe different councils have different approaches to this?

Oh no, certainly not admire them, I never suggested that! Just stated the fact the plan envolved a level of enteprise, they could well be bright lads who could do well if pushed in the right direction.

I wasn't condeming theft, I was merely pointing out enterprise by some guys. I'm pretty sure any people who paid money to get their drives and pathways cleared and then gritted were grateful. Others have also agreed with this point
I think you actually *should* be condemning it... but not condoning it. :smile:
