I find I can no longer see the indicators on a modern car whether it's day or night.
I don't run a car, just my bikes.
As a cyclist, but also as a pedestrian, I have noticed that sometimes I cannot see if a car is indicating.
At first I thought drivers were just not indicating, or indicating later than they should have, but what @DRM says below makes sense!
I think it's also a "design" thing, indicators built into headlights, that are hidden by the LED head lights, and at the back tucked in beside stupidly bright LED brake lights, the whole thing is just out of hand

I agree. Increasingly manufacturers seem to have become obsessed with the idea of the car front having the appearance of an animal face. It's about style rather than safety and communication.

At 71 I'll happily accept a part of the difficulty I experience is age related but I feel at least 80% of the issue is design lead. I'd like to see legislation applied and standards agreed which manufacturers are forced to comply with. In my wilder moments I want this to be retrospective.
