Would you cycle with night vision goggles? I would if I could find a pair light and small enough!

No, the more sophisticated ones contain automatic gain filters to prevent you getting blinded (i.e. they artificially saturate below their maximum gain capacity).

Can you imagine doing singletrack riding in the dark with night vision? That would be amazing!
