No thanks, I've just cleaned my teeth

So, I'm eating my way through a big tub of Yeo Valley yoghurt and two thirds in I decide I've had enough for now, time to clean my teeth and head out. Returning to the pot to put it back in the fridge I realise I left the spoon in it and when I take it out, to replace the lid, it's covered in yoghurt. Normally I'd eat that, but I just don't fancy it cos I've got that minty-freshness going on from the toothpaste. End up using my finger to scrape the yoghurt back into the pot for later... But how much later?

How long does it take to reach oral-neutral again?

(fairly sure I've never used that particular phrase before)

I'd have finished the entire pot before brushing my teeth then the situation couldn't arise.

I can eat immediately after brushing my teeth, doesn't make any difference to me. Tea and coffee can go down the hatch straight after too, yet I hear some have problems doing that.

I quite often finish my mug of tea as I head out the door, just after brushage.
