I just received a “5000W“ stealth clone I purchased from Alibaba and noticed a lack of welds on the rear shock mount and before I contact the company I want to mack sure this is not the correct configuration…? Also can someone confirm that what the accepted power wattage rating of an ebike is peak or nominal?

Looks like the bracket is keyed into the swingarm and tack welded on ends. Is it a aluminium frame?

You could take the shock out and see if the bracket is secured

Possibly welded on the reverse side. Don't die, as they are shockingly made, and I hope you can stop the thing. Don't forget, private land only - you can't use it outside of this.
