Couple of weeks back cycling into work and went to brake and got a nasty putting and scraping sound. It was hard to stop so I got off and found a small bit of metal had somehow been picked up from the road and was lodged in the pad.
I had to dig the tools out and sort it there. Too far to walk to work in time. Managed it though, but it had made the brake unbalanced and I had to reset that too.
