Spot on, he is just a big mouth. I bet that if you square up to him meaning business he would not be up for it.

I also liked the two first albums and the odd song after that.... I went to see them play Wembley in July and they were OK.


I think Noel's done the right thing. Maybe he can now write some good songs again.

One thing though, you cannot seriously compare them to John Lennon.

FWIW I can imagine Noel Gallagher teaming up with some other talented musicians and having a band that makes some really cracking music. I've always thought that he is a serious musician with some loutisch characteristics whereas his brother is just a lout who can hold a tune.

I agree. The first 2 albums were fine and Noel knows how to put a catchy tune together. They've certainly shifted a lot of discs and been popular headliners. Nowt wrong with that, but I wouldn't assign him genius status. Oasis havn't done anything recently of note, so Noel might as welll do his own thing. Perhaps he should team up with Damon Albarn
