I quite like the look of some of the lumia phones, it is just a shame you cant get rid of windows and put android on one otherwise I would be tempted.

My cousin has a smaller lumina and that is really very good. The 1320 has had not especially good reviews. You are obviously after a large screen phone but the resolution is not very sharp apparently. The other question is would you be happy with the Windows OS, I found it quite a steep learning curve coming from Android.

I had a Lumia 920 last yeart as I fancied a change from ios and Android, but I absolutely hated it TBH. Far too complicated to use when compared to the competition, and battery life was worse than any other phone I've had.

Went back to a Samsung and haven't looked back, Nokia still have a loooooooooong way to go to catch up the forerunners IMO.

Its weird isnt it, it is like Nokia mentally regressed.

I can remember a time not that long ago when the only phone I would even consider buying would be a Nokia, how times have changed.

I have had occasion to have to setup email on a few Nokia phones in the last couple of years and I can remember thinking how much of a pain it was compared with my Android phone.

I think I can see where Nokia (which is one owned by Microsoft) is going. It wants one OS across all platforms like Apple.

Well not quite as it is about to release an Android phone

That Moto G looks good for the money. After using Android/Galaxy for a while I have just bought an iPad mini2 and it is really very good but pricey.

Yes I like the look of the Moto G I look forward to playing with it.

I have the 2013 Nexus 7 tablet and I can say it is the best tablet I have ever played with, it is very quick and has a full HD screen, cant fault it at all.

I might be biased but I've found my time with my Samsung S3 to be distinctly meh. It's not been as reliable as any of my previous Nokias (it's just failed on me for the second time - first time the headphone socket after about a month, this time the USB socket after less than a year). I'm using the 925 that Nokia sent me as a developer device. So far the only thing that's missing is the Capital One app and a MicroSD card slot. But Nokia MixRadio PlayMe is brilliant. Tell it your favourite artists, and it generates a playlist based on those and similar artists. Thumbs up and down buttons allow it to fine tune the playlists, and you can download them for offline use. I also like C# and Visual Studio better than Eclipse and Java.

The Nokia X phones are a bit bizarre. It seems they still haven't learned from the burning bridge episode. Okay, a cheap Android phone might be good for developing markets, but what does it tell those in developed markets about confidence in Windows Phone? The cheaper Lumias are cracking devices for the price, but I think the 1320's a but too cut down compared to the 1520. I'm hoping to dump the S3 for something like the forthcoming 930 in the summer...

hmm, I just did a search to see if anyone had an opinion of that phone ... how did you get that price? Or did I just come in too late?

Tescos had a 10% off code at the weekend, so I bought it locked to tesco mobile then unlocked it using an unlock code from ebay for £1.99.

Have been using it since I got it on monday afternoon and it is an excellent phone, took it off charge on tuesday morning and looking at it the battery still says 33% left  my Samsung S3 hardly makes it through the day on a charge so far this has lasted 2 days
