Maillard Hubs, are they OK/Crap/Good...?

It seems that I might be using them to (re-)build a wheel. they have a date stamp 22 86?
And is it likely to be a 27" wheel from the '80s...?

Any thoughts...?

I've just got another (very rusty !) frame, (mtb), which has a single chain ring, and I'm hoping, will fit the BB of my Pug, chances seem to be maybe not, worth a go anyway, I paid nothing for it .
I'm really intending to get this up and running for Bu$$er all , money, and the learning curve will be good for me.

When it's done, it'll be used for me to pootle about wth my daughter on her bike, and the odd 40 miler, and then I've got a bet with Montage that we're gonna do the 2010 IoW on our homemade fixies!
