Thanks hitchington.

Looks interesting though can find no info on rates which is odd.

Or I am blind.

So have resorted to emailing them.

Have had a swift reply to my email which is impressive.

Less impressive was the core of the content.

》》Our standard tent pitches are either £7 per night (low season), £14 per night (mid season) or £21 per night (high season). We are happy to give a 10% discount to guests arriving on foot or by bike.

Since it will be early july it will probably be £21 which i consider to be taking the composting micturate. Even if the mid rate somewhat high. Hell i may not use the toilet, composted or otherwise, every day. Just a patch of grass.

May go in winter

I'm sure it wasn't that much when I went last year (July). They've changed their website so can't remember how much it was.

I think there may have been a change of ownership Hitchington.

It does sound nice, but not at that price.

Note that the new website doesn't quote any prices at all - you have for reasons I suspect are more to do with marketing and psychology than technical to go through the booking process.

Shame, the old website had a full price checker.

I made the arrangements for Pond Farm near cromer. Will try to report back after the visit but it all sounds rather nice and chilled.

edit: links added.

£8 a night - no charge for showers.

After a very brief email correspondence with Deepdale it appears that they have had some more thoughts about the footprint, ecological and otherwise of a guy on a bike and have apparently revised things as follows:

i>>We have re-priced for solo campers to £7 in low season (unchanged), £11 in mid season, and £15 in high season. In addition, we will offer a 10% discount for those arriving on foot, by bike or via public transport.

which is somewhat better.

Might pop by sometime and might be worth some of you folks trying out their new pricing structure.

Still not sure why basic price info and the periods aren't listed on the website - I do hope Uber isn't moving into campsites.

Many many years ago I camped with the family at Stiffkey on the beach. AFAICR it was ok if a bit basic.

I would love to camp, either legit or wild camping, at Little Snoring or Great Snoring.
