A Norwich man has just been charged under section 155 of the Highways Act (1980):
"(1)If any horses, cattle, sheep, goats or swine are at any time found straying or lying on or at the side of a highway their keeper is guilty of an offence;..."
The gentleman in question was the keeper of a pig running around the nightclub, taxi office and kebab strip that is Prince of Wales Road.
Please keep your pigs tethered on the public highway, it really isn't that hard.
