I have Shimano 530 pedals for the same reasons. They have spd on one side and a flat pedal on the other.530 Pedals

Greeting fellow A530 user, nice to make your acquaintance! :hello:
I wen for the 530s as I was sure I'd do the odd run-to-the-shops and not want to get fully kitted up, but it just feels so odd I don't very often indulge, I either put my bike shoes on or take my old flat-equipped MTB instead.
I went as far as to get some of the Shimano-made reflectors for mine (see pic below) as I knew I'd be commuting on the bike and wanted to be as visible as possible.

another vote for the excellent M324.

Wellgo make a cheaper alternative, the WPD 982 http://www.southwate...m20b83s207p1768
which I've not used, but look decent

Similar to the Wellgo but a little more expensive (only a little) are these from EBC which I got for the MTB. My thought was I could use any shoes if I wanted a quick trip out but I've never done that yet. Got M520's on road bike too so can use both sets of shoes on either bike and 520's are cheap as chips. :becool:
