norman needs help

I just picked up this norman frame and was wondering if any of the bike minds on here could identify it and what wheels and the sort of group set it would have had in its day. I believe the factory was closed in 1961 so it should be at least 50 years old

any help would be much appreciated thanks

I gave only a vague recollection of the name so can't help personally but any company that makes chainsets like these can't be all bad

I looked for the chain set but at 90 quid my wife would kill me and that's if im lucky

A nice looking frame for sure, just go with what you can afford and enjoy. I would think 27" or maybe 26" wheels.

well i have finaly finished building up norman and been on two 12 mile rides and he does ride great
though i must admit that it is a tad too big for my small legs
