norwich newbie

evening all

new road rider just joined up , into mtb and trials riding and have always been a 2 wheel enthusaist (with or without an engine) just recently took up road cycling and loving it. any other locals into both road and mtb? would be intresting to meet other people as sadly none of my mates are into bikes so always riding alone

I am originally from Norwich, been living in South Wales for the past 20 years but a move back is looks likely.
Not many mountains in Norwich but a great area for cycling (flat, these hills around here kill my knees) when I move back I will give you a shout but it could be a good few months or longer. I do miss Norwich.

Tuesday evenings

7:00pm start
Plumstead road ,Witard road junction
a socialable ride with strava segments
the ride is between 25 and 38 miles
average speed of about 16mph
on the way back we stop at the Shoulder of Mutton in Strumpshaw as it's only about 9 miles
back to the start point

lights , money , tube and helmet please

the only mountain in norwich is probably gas hill haha

how many people attend these tuesday night rides? i average around 17/18mph on way to work and sometimes if im feeling fit 20+ so i should be able to do 9 miles at 16mph

im out most sundays riding around aimlessly exploring etc specially on nice sunny days , i would love to learn/find some nice cycling routes
