Rough chest you've got there, HD, you might want to think about quitting.

+1 I had a load more throat and chest infections (including bronchitis 3 times in 10 years) after I stopped smoking than I'd had previously.
Well done Mickle. Been just over six months for me. Strangely I haven't had a cold since I gave up. The cash I saved has gone round my waist; I've put on over a stone and a half.

Here's a silly fact. Nosmo king, as in the title of the thread was a music hall/variety artist and took his name from the No Smoking sign that used to be in the carriages on the London Underground.
Not according to Vernon. You're thinking of cousin Nopar.

Where is the health improvement to, I am 18 months "fags free" now, (that woudlnt go down well in the USA !)
Have not got anymore money and dont feel any different, kinda feel cheated, as I enjoyed a smoke now and then.
Oh Well another sucker for the propaganda machine I guess, though I wont go back to them!

You couldn't be more wrong, and if you really feel that way the chances are that you will go back to them. This is just your addiction (yes, it IS an addiction) playing with your mind in an effort to get a fix.

you don't feel any different but you'd probably feel worse if you'd kept smoking the last 18 months! your lungs would def feel worse.
