Something to do with upsetting the Welsh, is what did Ivor in.

Thomas and Co. ran into a bit of trouble in the USA over a couple of the characters introduced there.

Twiki was definitely Buck Rodgers in the 25th century and Erin Gray was definitely lovely, I'm sure she still is.
Since only gentlemen of a certain vintage will remember Col Wilma Deering here's a look (the Daisy Duke of space;))

Most of this stuff was of it's time. I used to indulge in this kind of rose tinted nostalgia until I realized it was indicative of approaching age which seems to bring a bit of anus gazing with it. I've shrugged it off now and got down with the kidz. I only come in here to laugh at you ageing uncool people with centre parts and leg warmers.
