Update: A day later he's sitting up and chatting, but we're told any heart attack causes damage, and the extent will only be known with tests...

glad he's doing a touch better CP. i empathize with the family thing, many of my uncles/aunts didn't show for my nan's funeral and they still haven't got in contact with my grandad now in a home getting frailer by the day i guess some people have those families that get on better when they don't see each other.

as for your old man, have they outlined a course of action yet re the attack, is there any surgery needed etc?

My dad gave me a scare when the ICU nurse rang me a couple of years ago from Leeds Infirmary. I rushed down to see him while they were doing all manner of tests.... Old Fraud's doing really well for his age now.
