One of the best westerns of all time "Quigley Down Under". Ignore any and all bad reviews and count yourself lucky if you've never watched it (you have it to look forward to) . Alan Rickman and Tom Selleck doing what they do best. Brilliant, camp, violent and hilarious.

I'm not having a go at anybody race or creed, but I see in the papers the Cof E is loosing it's congregation, if we take the God save the Queen out of it we could end up having to play a different tune to please the minority of this country.

And that's not having a go? :rolleyes:

Save it for SC&P*

Really sad, he is one of my favourite actors to watch and is in a lot of films I like.

Galaxy Quest, a truly overlooked film, so funny, on so many levels...

Yes, and as a Trekkie I loved it as a parody (about 100 Trek fans were hired for the final convention scene). Rickman was a bloody good actor, very sad loss. I thought he p*ssed all over Kevin Costner as the scene stealing Sherriff in Prince of Thieves.

"And cut out his heart with a spoon."

"Why a spoon?".

"It's blunt, it'll hurt more !"

Goodbye Alan:sad::sad:
