Not getting notifications for threads I've contributed to

I used to get notifications for threads I've interacted with, but all of a sudden these have stopped. Has a setting been changed, or have I inadvertently turned something off? If so, how might I turn it back on?

Any help appreciated.

Check Account Details, Preferences and see if there's anything there that might have been changed and stopping alerts being sent.

No site-wide settings have been made.

Try logging out & clearing cache which may help.

My notification counter shot up to ~170 for no apparent reason recently. It stayed there for a week or so, then returned to normal after I viewed the forum on my phone one day.

Try logging out of forum for few hours or so.

It's been happening a lot to me as well recently. ONLY certain threads - I get lots overall!
Even threads THAT I STARTED !!! :P :P

My notification counter shot up to ~170 for no apparent reason recently. It stayed there for a week or so, then returned to normal after I viewed the forum on my phone one day.

My notifications stopped, and I got a ban for ignoring some warnings...but I never knew I had warnings because I wasn't receiving the notifications else I'd have wond my neck in! It's fine, no ones fault, no one died, but it taught me to keep a closer eye on things - I now keep notifications on for everything, so I'll know pretty quick if they should stop again. IIRC a few others had the same problem about the same time.

Same here for the last week...

Clearing cache has made no difference.

And same on different browsers on different machines.

Same for me. All notifications appear to have stopped. Nothing has changed in my settings.

Since this seems to be more widespread than just me, is anybody actively looking into the cause? Admins?
