Not getting notifications for threads I've contributed to

Is anybody looking into this, or looking at any recent changes that have caused it? Not getting notified means I, and others, are not going to participate in threads as we have to actively search for ones we are reading and see if they have changed since we last looked. Bit like notifications would do - there's a thought.

Edit to add: ah, only some. I can see some new posts on threads I'm watching where I haven't received a notification.

No site-wide settings have been made.

Try logging out & clearing cache which may help.

Yes, I got a notification of this. However, I'm not getting notifications for most of the threads I'm in.

I havent been getting notifications for a while either , i checked my settings and nothing is changed and the cache and browser history etc is cleared every time i shut the browser .

With still no notifications the site is becoming unusable without loading "new posts" and then trawling back looking for threads I've subscribed or are interested in.

That's what I'm doing at the moment. I'm still getting some notifications, but not many.

As asked yesterday, is anybody with any actual influence looking at this? I guess they don't see the posts because they're not getting notified, so don't know many people are missing them.

Mod note:

As already replied, the Mods have reported this thread to Shaun, the site owner.

This is all the Mods can do as we do not have Administrator permissions to access the site's underlying functionality.

I occasionally get notified for threads I've added to. But I used to get notified for threads that I read, and they have stopped completely. So I need to remember them all in order to be able check if they've changed, or add a pointless comment just so the system tags me, and then it forgets again after a few days anyway, so I have to repeat.
