Saw this in a car sales in Richmond , very rare here I think , there were thousands of these particular Toyota Lancruisers smokin around Australia when I lived there , this one is the V8 3 ltr ish version, I once went on a bush bash with a mate of mine near Sydney , He drove it up a near 90% rock face in a dis used quarry , I expected it to back flip and go back down , but it did it ! Amazing motors , Land Rovers couldnt match them,

they are used as mobile gun platforms in some parts of the world , unfortunately, in certain countries the intention was for them to transport the Red Cross etc around in, but they are siezed by bad guys , But every form of transport can and has been utilised by the military and insurgents ,
Ive seen them being used in cattle and sheep operations, beach patrols even vinyards , very versatile,

The Toyota pickups are mainly used (Hi-Lux) for gun platforms and stuff. Remember when Top Gear tried to kill one !

Even the never Land Cruisers are beasts, but don't have street cred... One of the owners of the construction company I was financial controller of, always had a Land Cruiser, it was old tech, but it was a good vehicle. The other owner had an old merc, that ran for years too.
