Had three nice overtakes from buses today – they’re getting a lot better at giving cyclists space around here – thought I’d make a video of it…

Always good to see some positive road sharing. I know it can be different in that there London, but the buses, cabbies and HGVs are all fine in my 'hood. I'll add to that tractor and combine harvester drivers - never a problem. Chief whipping boys du jour are non-farming 4x4s predictably and scabby old Peugots for some reason.

Most of the bus drivers along my route are like this, and quite a few HGVs from Killoughery. Oh, and a DHL driver last week, and a CCF Ltd driver the week before. Sent them all emails of compliment.

I dont think the point was excitement, I prefer no excitement whatsoever from passing Buses, I think the point was that improvement has been made in the attitude of bus drivers to cyclists.

Never been able to fault the bus drivers by me.
I've noticed also that all the buses round my area are now starting to be fitted with new "huge" near-side mirrors.
