Hi all,

I am a current PhD student at Liverpool John Moores University, looking to recruit male participants aged 18 to 35 to take part in an exciting and novel research study. This research is investigating the role of altering carbohydrate availability on how our muscle responds to exercise – a current hot topic within sports nutrition research. You will be eligible to take part in this study if you are:

- Male aged 18-35
- Physically active and perform structured exercise 3 times per week
- Free from metabolic diseases such as type II diabetes or insulin resistance
- Free from any known food allergies

Should you wish to take part, you will be required to visit the exercise physiology labs in the Tom Reilly Building at LJMU on 7 separate occasions for an assessment of fitness and to complete a series of cycling protocols under three different dietary conditions. Should you wish to take part, or if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me (M.Hearris@2014.ljmu.ac.uk).

Thank you in advance for any interest.
