If discs ever did become the norm on road bikes you could bet that designers would soon have the weight tumbling off anyway.


How true! Manufacturers follow the money and would soon have super-lightweight calipers made especially for road machines.
Look how low-pro bars are now derigeur for time trials and they obviously weigh more than standard drops.

I don't know what the point of having a "minimum weight limit" is.

ah, you're not the only one to have 'lost' a post then... i've lost at least one...think the software's gone a bit screwy of late.
