I managed to overcome my phobia of making soup today (no, only joking, just have never tried it!!)
Stewed up the remains of yesterdays turkey, stock, an onion, a carrot, and some barley to thicken it. Let it simmer gently for 3 hours and then tasted it....absolutely lovely
. Went down well with some crusty bread!!
Will be doing that again me thinks
