Now where did I say I put those gloves?

Think I'm going to need them today, it's a cold one.
Very foggy at the moment too. I was walking the dog and encountered four cyclists at different points on my route and not a single one with their lights on.

If you can't find your gloves, a thick pair of socks worn on your hands might tide you over.

I used to do that to the children when they were playing out in the snow Vernon.
I've checked though, and the sealskins are definitely in the cupboard.

Was a bit nippy this morning, had to stop half way to work and dig out my buff to stop the chill on my face - that and my knackered asthmatic lungs don't like taking in big gulps of cold air in the morning!!

My daughter, who, being a teenager, is allergic to any clothing remotely practical, like gloves, or coats, or vaguely waterproof shoes, cycled home from a party last night in the rain with no gloves. She justified kicking on the front door by claiming her hands were too cold to operate the bell push.
