So there i was just coming up to some lights about to go green, on The Mall, and there was a fixie in front of me.

I cruise past him and accelerated away...up to 25,...26,..... 27mph.

I thought "That'll ensure i beat him to Trafalgar Square"..at which point he FLEW past me as if i were standing still!!

He must have been doing 35 mph at least..

Nearly 20 years i've been commuting, he was the fastest i've ever seen!

On a fixie you can't 'stop' pedalling, right? At 35mph his legs must have been going round like the clappers!
