Okay so after getting my first bike I went on my first proper bike ride yesterday to take advantage of the weather, I went on a 4 hour all round bike ride up the canal which consisted of 10km all together, needless to say my muscles are hurting today but most of all my arse, more so my coxis, my saddle was so uncomfortable along my ride that I was stopping every 10-15 mins to give my bum a break, any info or ideas to help? is this a common thing with most riders? I don't know as im new to all this lol
I'm guessing it is, maybe 100km? not that it matters. Sounds like you need to play around with saddle position. Try making small changes to the saddle moving it forwards or backwards.
