@Tbombstud if you are still experiencing a bit of numbness try moving back slightly more. A few mms makes a difference and it's very much trial and error.

Every now and again put your hands right onto the bottom of the drops, shift your backside towards the rear of the saddle, and push your hips forward and push down with your hands. It will mean you take most of your weight on your hands and it will relieve pressure on the balls of your feet, and you should get feeling back in your toes. The same thing works if you get painful feet riding long / hard efforts.
