Are plates not supposed to be white on the front of a vehicle?

That cyclist is a lawbreaker and must be stopped!

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Impractical to have plates on the bike. Reg No should be branded on our foreheads, and stencilled on the back of compulsory hi viz tabards (and woe betide you if the two don't match!)

so when are motorbikes going to be required to have number plates on the front so that the average speed cameras will actually work with them? (not saying they don't obey the law but I know many who take no notice of the average speed cameras because they know they are not being caught at the moment - family members included!)

and how on earth on we meant to 'wear' them? :banghead:

At what age does a cyclist have to be registered then? 4,5 or at the earliest age a child starts to ride a bike It's a load of Bollox, this story keeps appearing, to my knowledge 20 years. It's midweek, the rag has to publish something.

One of the Channel Islands has passed a local law making the wearing of helmets by children under 14 compulsory- they are considering applying it to everyone.

They abolished number plates on the front of motorbikes in 1976 because too many people were getting serious injuries from them in collisions.
