Numpty question on photos.

My camera is only a pocket fuji finepic,but when i try to put pics on here or in my album i get file too big.So i go to SHRINK IMAGES a free site,but boy what a faff one at a time.So i don't bother,now how can i get the file size down to post straight into a thread story i do,ie a recent ride.
This morning at church one of the older guys asked had i been out this week.Well yes three times infact latest was yesterday we stopped in Newton on Ouse,a beautiful village said i.Well blow me he had only lived there years back.I mentioned i hasd taken a few photos,one of the old school house which was now a private residence,well his cottage was attached and i had photographed it yesterday.
So how can i get my photos on here without spending hours shrinking them.Many thanks

Is there a way to set the image size in the camera or the software you use to download to your computer?

download gimp and then download one of the many batch resizing scripts that are available.

I was having similar problems uploading from phone! I use JPEG Optimizer - Compress and Resize Your Digital Photos and it seems to do the trick without to much faff!!

use the paint programme if you are using windows on your computer. there really is no need to download or use any third party software to resize pics.

Have you got Microsoft Office? It should come with Microsoft Picture Manager, in which you can select multiple pics and resize them all!

If you download Microsoft image resizer (part of power tools) you needn't open graphics to resize them - just a simple right click option. A quick google will give you the free, legit download from MS.
