I was waiting for a mate of mine in town yesterday,so i was looking in a bookshop, and i found a book on Lance,he was scoffing Nutella for breakfast. Now i ask myself if i start to eat Nutella for brekkie will i improve as a cyclist?
Would it be a good food to use before and during a ride?
I am being serious here,if Lance has it should we all be on it?

It's pretty calorific (basically just fat and sugar).

This spread made from biscuits is even better...

Nutella is full of sugar and fat, so it would need to be part of a calorie controlled diet yada yada - IIRC Lance was so obsessive he counted everything in and out.

I would have thought you were slightly better with peanut butter, which has less saturated fat although a bit more salt.
