I have never really liked NYE, the thought of making yourself have fun
problem is when it comes round i feel as though i should make an effort
last night we went for a meal early on, visited my mum then went home and the 4 of us played board games and i had a few drinks, best NYE yet, not pressure, sat in shorts and T from 11.00pm!
ive asked the missus if we can stay in next year and go the pub NYD, less pressure

Good fun last night, although today has necessarily been a bit "low-impact"

Out into Glossop with some friends. Met a few folk we knew in the pubs and had a nice chat with them. Back home about 10.30. Son #2 was at home and he brought his decks down and did some mixes he's been working on which was cool. Watched Jools then back to the sounds. Bang on old skool Northern Soul, dancing in the kitchen drinking snowballs. Managed to get to bed about threeish

Family came round, we had some drinks , watched graham norton and Bryan Adams , saw some fireworks and I crashed into bed at about 2am . Felt great at 8am when we had smoked salmon and Philly bagels for brekkie. Then it went downhill when the hangover kicked in. Now on 3rd bottle of Rioja with the long haired general .

All is quiet on New Year's Day!

I don't like Christmas but I must admit I made absolutely no effort for New Years Eve this year.

I like Christmas but not new year, always feel Christmas is a good time for all being together chatting, enjoying, partying or making it what you want, new year is drinking and partying because you must
