I heard these are great for cleaning all the crud out of a cassette without removing it from the bike. Something to do with micro mesh or something. Anybody do this? Should I use black lacy or white seamed? Hold ups or ...ok I'll stop..

J-Cloths. They have a grain so you can easily tear them into strips.

Also cheaper than tee shirts and more pleasant to handle than the grey, work-hardened thongs you see under the lip of the local muffin rolls.
