My observation doh, lasted a couple of years 
Despite cleaning/ polishing my Bianchi's crankset; I failed to notice the little stamp 53/39, I'd always assumed it was 50/36 (what I thought I ordered). Only once I got back from Gloom Hill (The Castle Road), Dollar which some say is an average of 17% peaking at 30% and cleaning the Bianchi again, did I notice

I wondered why I wasn't going as fast as usual on my bike the other day... I was pedalling furiously! Then I looked down and noticed, to my surprise, that I'd forgotten to put the wheels back on after a recent fettling session! I was still in my back garden! Doh!
