Obsessive bike cleaning

Every now and again I do a big strip clean but that must be about twice a year at most. Give it quick wipe down when I get in if it needs it.

And how about your bicycle?

I like to give my bottom bracket a good clean and fettle every now and again .

Now try doing that whilst looking after 3 kids under 5! If I can manage 5 minutes a week working on the bike, that's been a good week!

But I have got two kids under 10, plus a rabbit. And I have always cleaned my bikes that way.

I've taken the red coloured ones and put them in the washing machine before now though.

Gets the grime out from between the spokes quite well don't they.....

3-4 hours? What are you doing, cleaning the inside of your tyres?

Of course! Turning the inner tubes inside out is really fiddly.



Especially with Schraeder valves.

Cleaning the bike.... on the stand.. outside in the peeing rain.. that's bleedin' obsessive...
Afterwards bring into the conservatory to dry down and polish...
