October's ride for beer: Harwich, Bruges and Westvleteren, 28-30 October

My family followed the 'buy the magazine, the right magazine, on the right day, cut out the voucher, go to the shop, the right shop, on the right day' process - and presented this 'brick' to me last weekend. Selling for £150 on eBay now.

So it is! I was tempted to bid for it but decided to go on the next trip to Belgium and sample it at the place of manufacture. In good company.

Absolutely! It is a wonderful beer but I am sure that it tasted far better for having cycled for two and a half days to drink it at source.
