On a motorsport board I used to frequent, there was a user called "Deadsquirrel".

Chap was a marshal and picked up the moniker as a result of hitting and killing a squirrel while driving one of the course cars at a race meeting.

Wasn't this one at Brands was it?

I've seen that in use on an expats' forum in France, along with Mike Hunt.

I wanted to call my boat "Yew Anchor" and use the name on a sailing forum..

New Scientist had a section on "nominative determinism" where the persons name appeared to have dictated the job\;

My favourites were the aquarium run by a Mrs Fish, the NASA manager Mr Starr and the two urologists Splatt and Weedon

All the funnier because thy were real

We came across a canal boat called "Mesothelioma"

Met the owner in the pub and asked

He had developed the disease due to his job, and the compensation and pension enabled the purchase and use... the name was appropriate but also unique
