Downhill doing 24 increasing speed and I get flat in the front. Instant deflation, front starts snaking and
its wet. Boom, interaction with the hedge and the road. Looks like I have been mauled by the Clacton lion. Cuts and bruises but nothing major.

Front wheel is buckled, saddle took a big hit and has had it but the rest of the bike looks ok. Will give it a good check tomorrow.

A lucky one.

Thats the one thing im worried about on my commute considering im hitting 40 mph each time (give or take)

Glad your relatively ok though, new undercrackers needed?

To be fair 10 years of commuting and its the first time I have had a flat in the front downhill, just one of those things. I normally always check the tyres for flints etc before rides etc so will take a look tomorrow to see what caused it.

Makes my visit from the fairy today seem totally sedate. Slow rear one, no drama. Just ordered a marathon + for my rear wheel as my current ones seem as soft as cheese.

Hope to avoid one like yours 4F, glad you're OK.
