For a few weeks, at least. I just had a back operation (lumbar decompression) so it'll be a few weeks before I can ride and a few more before I get back to work. I'll be interested to see how getting back on fits with my rehab. I'll keep you posted, even if you aren't interested.

Please do - I'll be off the bike from next Tuesday - shoulder decompression - your's sounds much more serious - at least I'll be on my Turbo once the anaesthetic wears off (hoping for Thursday) or when my wife let's me - she's decided to take the rest of the week off, so I can't get up to anything  .

How did the op go? Not looking forward to the 'knocking me out bit'.

Good luck with that, sounds sore. I am off the bike at the moment with the flu - 4 days last week and at least a couple this week before I'll feel up to the trip. Second dose in five weeks Grrr

I wouldn't worry about that bit - theres a moment just before you go under when you realise why some people get hooked on certain substances. Quite nice really. Its a week since DynoRod got stuck into my spine, so I'm still waiting for wounds to heal. The turbo trainer is set up with a video of the Giro 2006 ready.
My aim is to be riding before I'm ready to drive.
