Yes, it may be that it was something somone said that triggered the divulgence of information, but that wasn't how it read in the OP.

On the 'friend' front, we only have her word (as regaled by Maggot) that this friend even exist/s/ed.

I also stand firm with my thoughts on a woman that can enter an office at 08:30, and by 09:08 WE know about her dis-satisfaction at the transfer, her solo (selfish) coffee trips, her health, her dislike of jaffa cakes, her urge to have the biscuit club re-arranged and not to forget her 'friend' and their (still alleged) passing.

I am sure I am wrong, but how unproffesional is it to get all that out in under 38minutes - when you are meant to be working?

Just my view.

Please respect it, as I do yours.

If you don't want a hug, then all the more for Arch.
I've shown no disrespect, I don't think - and anyway you're probably right.

But if not, indeed if this whole thread has got it grievously wrong - well let's hope this poor creature doesn't get to read it! On someone else's computer in the office that just happens to have CycleChat open on it (when it ought to be used for work only) possibly? Maggot??! Maggot???

I didn't think you had, I just automatically wrote that....

Good point....anyone seen Maggot?

I'm a latecomer to this thread, but it sounds like she's either an infernal attention seeker or feeling a bit insecure in the new position.

Has anyone tried to get to know her yet? Like gone for a tea break with her or something? If you rule out the 'insecure' bit by making her feel more comfortable and getting to know each other better over tea or lunch, and she still does it, then she's an attention seeker and you can ignore her with impunity...;)
